So, what is Techboomers?
Our founder, Steve Black, got the idea for Techboomers when he ran into the problem of how to teach his mom and other relatives how to use the Internet while he was busy running his SEO consulting business. When he couldn't find a website with free, clear, and up-to-date lessons that could let his relatives learn on their own, he decided to make one himself. Using his business savvy, he recruited a team of writers, videographers, marketers, and website developers, and his vision for Techboomers came to life.
In this sense, Techboomers is a thank-you gift to the "baby boomer" generation (hence our name). They taught us how to grow up in their world, so now we're returning the favour by teaching them how to keep up with our world. Of course, Techboomers isn't just for older adults; anyone looking to advance beyond basic computer skills, or just wanting to learn about a new website, is welcome to learn with us.
We work hard to make sure that all of our tutorials are complete, simple to understand, and -- most importantly -- always free to access and use however you want. That's our pledge to you.
