Need to tighten up the security on your Skype account? You can change your password to make it harder to guess or easier to remember. Here's how to do it.
Go to www.skype.com in your web browser and log in.
Click on your name in the top-right corner to get to your account page (if you aren't there already). Then, under "Settings and Preferences", click Change Password.
On the next screen, click in the box labelled "Old Password" and type in the password that you are currently using. Next, click in the box labelled "New Password" and type in the password that you would like to use for this account. Next, click in the box labelled "Confirm Password" and type in a copy of your new password. Finally, click Save.
That's about all that you have to do in order to change your Skype password! Be sure to write your new password down so that you don't forget it, and store it in a safe place so that nobody else can find it!
