Just got some big, exciting news? Or received a hilarious message from one of your friends? If you have an awesome text message like that in your inbox, you’ll probably want to share it, which means you’ll want to learn how to forward a text message. Today, we’re going to show you how you can forward a text on iPhone.
To forward a text message on iPhone
1. Tap Messages to launch the messaging app.
On your home screen, tap the Messages icon to access your messages.
2. Find the conversation you’d like to share.
Now, find the conversation that contains the message you want to forward.
3. Look through your conversation and find the message you want to forward.
Locate the specific individual message you want to pass along. When you find it, tap and hold your finger on the speech bubble that contains it to reveal more options.
4. Tap More.
When the options appear at the bottom of your screen, tap the More button.
5. Tap the Arrow button.
To indicate that you want to share this message with someone else, tap the Arrow button in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
6. Choose the contact you’d like to send the message to.
A new message window will have opened. Now, at the top of your screen, you can enter the phone number or name (if the person is saved as a contact on your device) of the person you’d like to pass the message along to. Your message will automatically be entered in the text box below.
7. Tap the Up Arrow to send it.
When you’re ready to send your forwarded message, tap the Up Arrow above your keyboard to send your message.
