Now that you know what HBO Now is, you might be considering using this service to stream HBO content whenever you like. HBO has always had great shows that you just can’t get enough of, but to pay for a subscription to HBO along with your current TV subscription is sometimes costly (depending on your service provider). However, HBO Now allows you virtually unlimited access to your favourite HBO programs whenever and wherever you want, without a TV subscription. Read below to find out exactly how much HBO Now is going to set you back.
HBO Now costs $14.99 per month, plus taxes, for a subscription. With this, you get unlimited access to all HBO content, and can set your account up on as many devices as you wish. Stream HBO content on multiple devices simultaneously, or from HBONow.com. You can cancel your subscription to HBO Now at any time.
If you already have a subscription to HBO through your TV service provider, you get access to HBO Go for free! Just visit HBONow.com and click Sign In in the top right corner. From here, sign in using the username and password your TV provider has given you (or contact them to find out what it is). Then choose an HBO Go ID, enter your email and ZIP code, and you’re ready to start streaming for free!
HBO Now offers a one-month free trial to any new user who registers. All you need to do is register for HBO Now on a compatible device and set up your account; visit our tutorial on how to sign up for HBO Now to learn how to do this. From there, you set up an account as if you were creating a subscription, and you will get one month of access to the full service of HBO Now for free.
To do this, you will need to enter your credit card information, or log in to your Paypal account. However, you will not be charged for the service until your free month ends. You can also cancel the service at any time, so if you want to use HBO Now to binge-watch all of your favourite shows for a month straight, this is perfectly acceptable – binge away for free!
Though this explains HBO Now pricing and the benefits of the free trial, there are some additional costs you should consider before you begin using HBO Now. In particular, HBO Now may cost you a fortune in data usage. For more information, check out our tutorial on HBO Now data usage.
