How to Sign Up for Badoo

To create a Badoo account:

  1. Visit Badoo.com.
  2. Select your gender and the reason why you want to sign up.
  3. Enter your first name, birth date, where you live, and email address.
  4. Add a profile picture.
  5. Confirm your account and verify your email address.
  6. Add more details about yourself and your interests by editing your profile.

Detailed instructions for how to create a Badoo account

1. Visit the Badoo website and select your gender.

Go to Badoo.com in your web browser. The first step is to select your gender.

2. Indicate why you’re joining Badoo.

The next step is to select the reason why you want to use Badoo. You can use it to Chat, Make New Friends, or to Date.

3. Enter your personal information.

Next, Badoo will ask for some of your personal information. Click in each text box, and enter your name, your date of birth, the city you live in, and your email address. When you’re done, click Create Account.

4. Choose to invite friends.

Badoo will then ask you if you would like to invite friends to join as well. Choose which service you use for your email, enter your email address and password in each text box, and click Continue to find your contacts and choose who to invite. If you don't want to do this right now (or at all), or you can click Skip it for Now at the bottom, and you won't invite anyone.

5. Add a photo.

Then you’ll be given the option to add some photos to your profile. You can choose to import photos from your social media accounts, like Facebook, Instagram, or Google+. Or, you can upload photos from your computer.

6. Confirm your email address.

Complete your registration by confirming your email address. Open your email inbox and find an email from Badoo. Inside the email, click the button labelled “Complete your Registration.”

7. Verify your account.

Verify your account by typing your phone number into the text box, and then clicking Verify. Badoo will call you using an automated computer system to confirm that it’s the correct number.

8. Spruce up your profile.

Add to your profile by filling in some more information about yourself and your interests. You’ll be more likely to match with other users if you tell them what you’re like! Click in any text box to type freely about yourself, or click any drop-down menu to select pre-determined values, such as your height, weight, etc.

9. Verify your profile.

Verify your profile with photos, linking your credit card (you won’t be charged any money), and connecting your Badoo profile to your social media accounts, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

10. Start finding matches!

Start meeting people on Badoo! Use either the “Encounters” feature, or the “People Nearby” feature to browse profiles of other users. Maybe you’ll find someone you’ll have a great connection with!
