Now that we’ve covered what Care.com is as well as its safety, legitimacy, and reliability, are you curious how much it costs to use? In this article, we’ll be talking about the different types of accounts you can have, and how much each one costs. Hopefully, this article will help in your decision of whether it is worth using.
Just a heads-up that some of the services we’re reviewing here have affiliate partnerships with us, so we may earn a commission if you visit one of them and buy something. You can read more about how this works at https://techboomers.com/how-to-support-techboomers.
Is Care.com free?
You can sign up for a basic account on Care.com and use the site for free. However, the basic account only gives you access to certain features, and doesn’t allow you to easily communicate through the online messaging system. To get more features, you need to purchase a paid membership subscription.
How much can Care.com cost me?
If you sign up for a basic account, Care is free to use. If you’re looking to have the easiest experience, and get the most out of it, we’d recommend considering getting a premium paid membership. If you sign up for a Premium Membership, it can cost you $37/month or $147 for an annual subscription.
To help you decide which membership is best for you, we’ll go over the details of each one below.
Basic Care.com membership
The basic membership is 100% free to sign up for and use. This membership allows the user to post caregiving jobs, receive the newsletters, and gives access to resources with helpful information about caregiving. The basic membership is a good option if you’re looking to hire a caregiver and don’t want to spend money to find someone for the job.
Premium Care.com membership
The premium membership option is much more comprehensive. The premium membership gives you all the features of the basic membership, plus access to other users’ contact details, unlimited messaging, the ability to purchase background checks, and to access to caregivers’ references.
The premium membership costs $37/month for a monthly subscription, or $147 (which works out to $12.25/month and is a much better deal) for an annual subscription. If you want to be able to access all the useful features Care offers, the premium membership option may be worth it for you.
You can upgrade your membership to premium here.
