If you’d like to show off a little bit more about who you are to the SoundCloud community, you can certainly do so by editing your profile. However, remember that SoundCloud is in large part a social network, so don’t enter any information that you’re not totally comfortable with other people seeing. How to edit your SoundCloud profile

Go to www.soundcloud.com in your web browser and log in.

Click your user name in the top-right corner, and then click Profile.

On the right-hand side of your profile page, click Edit.

At the top part of the screen, you can click in the box labelled “Display Name” and type in a new user name for yourself on SoundCloud (note: you cannot leave this box blank). You can also click the pencil icon beside “Profile URL” and change the actual Internet address for your SoundCloud profile page.

If you’d like to change your profile picture, click Update Image. An explorer window will open that will allow you to search for a new picture to use to represent yourself on SoundCloud. Navigate to the picture you want, click it to select it, and then click Open. From there, you can click the “+” and “-” buttons that appear to zoom your picture in our out, or click Replace to pick a different picture entirely by repeating this process.

Under the “Personal” section, you can click in the highlighted boxes and type in:
– Your first name
– Your last name
– The city in which you live
– The country in which you live
– A short description of yourself
The “You On The Web” section lets you add hyperlinks to your SoundCloud profile for other websites or web pages that you control, such as your profiles on other social networks (such as Facebook or Twitter). Click Add Link, and then click in the box labelled “HTTP” and type in the Internet address of the web page that you control. Then click in the box labelled “Short Title” and type in a brief descriptor for the website (e.g. “My Facebook Page”). If you want to delete a hyperlink from your profile, click the trashcan icon beside it.
When you’re done editing your profile, click Save Changes.

One other way that you can customize your SoundCloud profile is by clicking the Upload Header Image button. This will allow you to choose a background image for your profile.
An explorer window will pop up allowing you to search your computer for a picture. Navigate until you find the one you want, click on it to select it, and then click Open. Then, click the “+” or “-” buttons to zoom your picture in or out, or click and hold the mouse button down on your picture and move the mouse around to display a different area of your picture. When you’re done, click Save.
Those are the different ways that you can edit your SoundCloud profile, so go ahead and express yourself!
