Techboomers has been designed with ease of use in mind, so there are relatively few settings to adjust. You can, however, change your name as it appears in our database (and in your newsletter emails). You can also change the email address that you use to sign into Techboomers with (and that we use to send you our newsletter), as well as the password for your account.
How to change your Techboomers settings

Go to www.techboomers.com in your web browser and log in.

Click My Account in the menu across the top.

If you want to change your name as it appears in the Techboomers database (and in our newsletter emails to you), click in the left box underneath “Change Name” and type in your first name as you want it to appear (you may need to press the “Backspace” key until your incorrect name disappears first). Do the same thing with the right box, except type in your last name as you want it to appear, instead. Then click Update Name.

If you want to change the email address that you use to log into Techboomers (and receive our weekly newsletters), click in the box below “Change Email Address” and type in your new email address (you may need to use the “Backspace” key to get rid of the old one first). Then click Update Email Address.

If you want to change the password that protects your Techboomers account, scroll down to the “Change Password” section. First, click the box labelled “Enter Old Password” and type in your current password. Then, click in the box labelled “Enter New Password” and type in a new password that you’d like to use. Then, click in the box labelled “Confirm New Password” and type in a copy of the new password that you picked. Finish up by clicking Change Password.
